Playing at your home ground and the crowd cheering for you with all the energy is something I will cherish forever.

Gymnastics being an Individual Sports, it was great fun to be playing it as a team sport. Also the skill based concept of Indian Gymnastics League gives us players more confidence to perform a skill which we might have just attempted in our practice session.

For my team “RISKY REPEAT” was very helpful concept. We did gain double points but also confidence that we do have one more chance and we shouldn’t be giving up.

With the FIG code of point making dismount as compulsory in routines, it was good to see Indian Gymnastics League taking it into consideration and keeping dismounts as the highlight on all events. This factor has helped me personally a lot to gain confidence in my main routines. Even getting extra points for stick landings made all of us put extra effort on the landings. Which indeed helped us in future competitions.

Being one of the senior players in the team, guiding the team,  somewhere motivating them and seeing them play well gave me a sense of responsibility and uplifting. Something that was really insightful was, players performed for fun, without being under any performance pressure.

Talking about motivation, the cheerleaders were the major part of it. Their cheering and dancing worked as great supporters and motivators.

Towards the end I had come out with an experience of juniors turning friends, friends being guides and coaches asking to have fun rather than being serious.  Definitely one of the best moments of my life and will cherish it forever.

Eagerly waiting for season three and lets see what awaits in this new season.
